Description

Developments in the world of automated vehicle technology are happening at an unprecedented rate. The benefits are vast, but the challenges for policy makers are as well. Liability issues, collaborative and consistent regulation development and policy prioritization are all issues that public agencies are tackling at the local, state and federal level.

This panel discussion will bring together government, industry and academic leaders who are addressing the issue of automated vehicle policy development in ways that mitigate potentially negative impacts while fostering industry growth and technology development.
