Description

This engaging discussion will highlight commercial drone design challenges including technology insertion, obsolescence, human factors and others.  It will explore relevant design methodologies from markets near and adjacent, as panelists describe examples from their own experiences.

Featuring a diverse range of perspectives, the session will highlight design methodologies and describe how human factors and voice of the customer/market are not often fully considered during critical design phases.  Many current commercial UAV designs represent a pressing of consumer-grade subsystems into commercial service.  This has created a dissonance between truly commercial drone needs and the systems available early on to industry.
