AUVSI is currently accepting speaker proposals for XPONENTIAL 2018! Using our Call for Speakers portal you can submit a proposal to participate as a technical presenter, poster presenter, or apply for an open speaking opportunity. The Benefits of Participating

Particpants in the AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2018 program are among the most well-respected authorities in the unmanned systems industry. Being a part of the XPONENTIAL program will further position you as a thought leader and gain exposure for your company.

Speakers, moderators and poster presenters will receive a complimentary Full Conference Pass. The Full Conference Pass grants individuals access to keynote sessions, all educational presentations, and our XPO Hall featuring more than 725 exhibitors.


Proposal Types

This year we are accepting proposals for the following session types:

  1. Technical Presentations- Technical presentations are 30 minutes, with 1-2 presenters, and focus on research related to unmanned systems technology, operations, policy and more. These presentations are research based and require a supporting technical paper to be submitted prior to the conference for inclusion in the event proceedings.
  2. Open Speaking Proposal- Open speaking proposals encompass all oral presentations except technical presentations. This may include panels and standalone speaking opportunities. Educational sessions are conducted in both session rooms and in the XPO Hall.
  3. Poster Presentations– Poster presentations will be held In the XPO Hall with designated viewing hours. During designated viewing hours, presenters will be required to accompany their poster and interact with attendees. These presentations are research based and require a supporting technical paper to be submitted prior to the conference for inclusion in the event proceedings. Technical proposals that are not selected for an oral presentation may be nominated for a poster presentation.

Co-Located Events
Interested in hosting a Co-located event at XPONENTIAL? AUVSI makes hosting an educational and experiential event at AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2018 easy. We will market and promote your event to a vast network of unmanned and technology professionals. We will also provide registration services, logistical support and coordination and complimentary XPO Hall passes for your attendees. Solutions Theater
Please note the Call for Speakers is for non-promotional educational content. Product and service oriented presentations may be featured in the Solutions Theater. Only companies exhibiting at XPONENTIAL 2018 may participate in the Solutions Theater. Companies interested in exhibiting at XPONENTIAL should contact their Business Strategist. Submitting a Technical Proposal or Poster Proposal

This year AUVSI will accept technical proposals via the Call for Speakers. Proposals will be considered for the 2018 technical program as well as for poster presentations taking place in the XPO Hall. All proposals will be peer reviewed by at least two members of the conference organizing committee.

Technical session and poster presenters are expected to participate in the conference and provide a technical paper supporting their presentation, which will be published in the conference proceedings. Technical papers do not need to be submitted with the application. Technical papers will be due in late March/early April 2018.
