AUVSI has reserved room blocks in various hotels found here; Hotel Reserved Blocks. All Hotels with reserved room blocks will have a complimentary shuttle provided to attendees except Courtyard by Marriott Convention Center, Embassy Suites Hotel New Orleans Convention Center, Hampton Inn & Suites New Orleans Convention Center, Hyatt Place New Orleans Convention Center, New Orleans Downtown Marriott at the Convention Center, Omni Riverfront New Orleans, Renaissance New Orleans Arts, Residence Inn by Marriott New Orleans, SpringHill Suites by Marriott Convention Center


The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is located in the vibrant warehouse district of downtown New Orleans, just steps from Mississippi River Heritage Park, The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk, The National WWII Museum and The Contemporary Arts Center. The convention center is easily accessible via Interstate 90.


Ample parking is available at The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center for a daily fee of $10.00 per day per car (No in and out privileges).

Along with reserved parking for the disabled, The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is equipped with ramps at every entrance and accessible restrooms. Guests with mobility challenges may utilize the covered drives as drop-off and pick-up locations. To view a map of the facility to identify the location closest to your event destination, Click here. Mobility scooters can be rented from the UPS Store, located on Lobby F.


Whether you need boxed lunches for ten or gumbo for 10,000, Centerplate, the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center’s exclusive food service provider, can turn out quality results for any size meeting. For attendees’ convenience, the Convention Center also offers retail cafes in the lobbies and a variety of concession stands in the exhibit halls.


Show badges can be picked up from Hilton New Orleans Riverside.



Located in Lobby F, The UPS Store is both a self-service and full-service operation, depending on the customer’s needs. Remote business centers can be set up at event registration areas. Hours are tailored to meet the needs of convention managers and attendees. A wide range of supplies and services including shipping, high volume copying, faxing, badge chains, etc., are available.


The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is the exclusive supplier of Internet connectivity for all events within the facility. We are equipped with a DS3 (45mbps) dedicated Internet connection to a national provider, and can provide Internet and networking connectivity to any area of the facility. Our connections require nothing more than your properly configured computer and a standard ethernet network card to connect you to the internet. As a full-service provider, we supply all cabling, networking equipment and support necessary to insure reliable Internet connections.

XPONENTIAL will be held the first week of May at The New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in Hall E – I-2. The Conference will run from Monday, May 2 to Thursday, May 5

When will the Exhibit Hall open?
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Exhibit Hall will be open 10:00am-5:30pm. Thursday the Exhibit Hall will be open 10:00am-4:00pm.

How do I register as an attendee?

How many people are expected to attend?
More than 8,000 individuals from across the globe and a range of expertise are expected to attend XPONENTIAL 2016.

What are the co-located conferences?
AUVSI has joined forces with Maxon Precision Motors and BBI International to present attendees with even more sessions and opportunities. Maxon Precision Motors’ Aquatic Solutions Conference (ASC) will take place May 3 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in Room 263 and BBI International’s UAS Energy In Sight Summit will be held on May 4 from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Room 270.

What are the future show dates and locations?
We are excited to announce that XPONENTIAL 2017 will be held May 8-11 at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. Stay tuned for more details on this event soon!

How many exhibitors will be at XPONENTIAL 2016?
We anticipate over 600 exhibitors at the show.

What is the dress code?
The dress code for XPONENTIAL 2016 is business casual. Remember, there will be lots of walking and standing on concrete floors so make sure to wear comfortable footwear that week. Dress for The Mix is casual dressy to match the high energy fun of the event.

Is food allowed on the show floor?
Yes, food from Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is allowed and provided at several locations where it will be available for purchase.
We also host daily networking receptions with open bars and snacks.
