Steve has a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University. He has worked for Dominion for 30 years in various positions in both Electric Distribution and Electric Transmission. Steve has held positions in Design, Standards, Project Management, Forestry, Information Technology, Process Improvement, Asset Management and Contractor Management.

Currently Steve is the Manager of Transmission Forestry and Line Services for Dominion Energy where he oversees 6,600 miles of transmission lines and rights-of-way in Virginia, North Carolina and West Virginia. He also directs the UAV program for Electric Transmission and is viewed as a Subject Matter Expert on UAVs by Dominion Energy .

Steve serves on the Board of Directors for the Unmanned Systems Association of Virginia (USAV). USAV is a non-profit coalition focused on promoting a legal and regulatory framework that supports innovation, collaboration and growth in the unmanned systems industry in Virginia.
Steve lives in Richmond, Virginia with his wife Karen. They have two children, both have graduated college and live in other parts of Virginia and Maryland.
