Jonathan Daniels is the CEO of Praxis Aerospace Concepts International, a ServiceDisabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in southern Nevada. PACI provides practical solutions for multi-modal (ground-air-sea-industrial) response robot systems and infrastructure. He is the President of the Nevada Alliance for Defense, Energy and Business, a Nevada 501c(3) with a 25-year history of technology development and economic diversification within southern Nevada. Mr. Daniels retired from the Army as a field grade warrant officer in 2012. He is the President of the Nevada AUVSI Chapter.
He is a performance–driven professional unmanned systems (UxS) innovator, consultant, professor and research roboticist. A recognized industry expert, he is a voting member of the UAS in Controlled Airspace Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC). Mr. Daniels is the Steering Committee Chairman for AUVSI’s Trusted Operator Program ™, a critical effort for remote pilots and training organizations to demonstrate reliability, safety, professionalism and trust in the UAS industry. He represented ASTM on the Remote ID and Tracking ARC in 2017. He briefed the Micro-UAS ARC in March 2016 on Small- and Micro-UAS repair and inspection. The US House of Representatives Committee on Small Business requested he testify in September 2016 before the Subcommittee on Investigations, Oversight and Regulations regarding the impact of the FAA’s Small Rules on Small Business. He was selected for appointment as a UAS Designated Airworthiness Representative (UAS DAR) by the Griffiss International Airport UAS Test Site.
