Mark Bauman

VP Insitu Commercial - Americas

Profile

Mark Bauman is Vice President and General Manager of Insitu Commercial. In this role, he is responsible for further driving the company’s growth in the rapidly expanding and hyper-competitive commercial market. This includes expanding the capability for Insitu RPAS to operate in international airspace and growing Insitu’s Solutions business within the commercial space on a global scale. Mark joined Insitu in 2014 as the Program Manager for the RQ-21A Blackjack Program and also led the expanding Integrator and RQ-21A Blackjack product line through its initial deployments supporting multiple Marine Expeditionary Units (MEU). Most recently, Mark held the position of Associate Vice President and Deputy of Insitu Defense where he led the integration of the ScanEagle and Integrator Product lines into a single customer-focused defense services organization.
Prior to joining Insitu, Mark was a Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP within their Advisory Line of Service. He was the Program Director for the firm’s Advisory Alliances and Channels strategy and operations organization and held several leadership positions within the Washington Federal Practice, where he led a variety of large-scale programs for the firm across multiple federal agencies. Mark began his career in the U.S. Air Force, where he oversaw a number of domestic and international programs as an acquisition officer. During his time in the Air Force both on active duty and reserve, Mark achieved the rank of Major and completed a highly selective program focused on developing the service's most strategic leaders. As an acquisition officer and Program Manager, he focused his teams' efforts on meeting warfighter needs and gained experience while managing several foreign military sales cases valued at more than $3.6 billion. He also directed a number of high-priority programs within the air, space, and command and control domains.
