David Snyder

Profile

Mr. Snyder, is a principal engineer for the NIOSH Office of Mine Safety and Health Research (OMSHR), responsible for mine safety and health technologies R&D, and previously led the communications and tracking research under the MINER Act for OMSHR. Before NIOSH, he held positions in technology research and integration including founder of a public Wi-Fi company, vice president of a cable and telephone company, and CTO of a large international corporation. Earlier in his career, Dave worked as an engineer for Bethlehem Mines. Accreditations: B.S., Mining Engineering, Penn State University; M.S., Electrical Engineering, and a licensed PE.
