Profile

Dr. Neale’s research program is focused on applied remote sensing from satellite and airborne, including unmanned aircraft, systems in the visible, near infrared, thermal infrared and microwave portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. This includes the use of airborne multispectral imagery for monitoring and mapping river corridors, riparian vegetation, wetlands, natural resources, irrigated agriculture. As well as, irrigation water management, water demands estimates, and evapotranspiration measurements with lysimeters, Bowen ratio, eddy covariance and scintillometer systems.
