George Meyer

Professor of Biological Systems Engineering
Department of Biological Systems Engineering, University of Nebraska-Lincoln

Profile

Dr. Meyer’s research is focused on machine vision for automated detection and enumeration of objects and phenomena that are observed using sensor systems. These include electrical optical sensors, thermal and spectral analysis for plant detection, identification, enumeration, physiological properties and stress applied to both field and greenhouse site specific crop management, as well as mathematical modeling and simulation of plant growth and development.
