Dr. Hiroko NAKAMURA is a Project Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo, Center for Aviation Innovation Research and also the Deputy Director General at the Japan Unmanned System Traffic and Radio Management Consortium, namely JUTM.
JUTM is a consortium for building socio-technical UTM system - Common Sky- that includes members and observers from more than 160 companies, institutes and agencies. She leaded the UTM demonstration this October at the consortium, where demonstrations tested the UTM concepts of connecting flights for delivery services and the disaster management process using UTM with 44 organizations and 19 drones.
She graduated from the University of Tokyo and the Ecole Centrale Paris. Her research interests include UTM, Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) regulatory development, and technology and innovation management.
