Ethan Klein

Policy Advisor, Emerging Technologies
Office of Science and Technology Policy


Ethan Klein is a policy advisor for emerging technologies at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. At OSTP, Mr. Klein’s portfolio includes autonomous and unmanned transportation, artificial intelligence, and advanced nuclear reactor concepts. Prior to joining the White House, Mr. Klein was a science policy fellow at the Institute for Defense Analyses, where he supported OSTP and the National Science and Technology Council. Mr. Klein graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and physics, and will return in the fall of 2018 to pursue a doctorate in nuclear science and engineering.
