Denis JAUVIN is a civil aviation engineer with 35 years of operational and regulatory experience in the DGAC (French Civil Aviation Authority) on different fields such as airport infrastructure development and technical studies, airworthiness and pilot training.
Since 1990, he has served as a manager of various State entities like maintenance factory and pilot schools. He was finally appointed in 2008 as one of the Deputy Directors of the French Civil Aviation Academy (ENAC) in 2008 managing 8 pilot training centers with over 500 employees.
In 2015, he joined ICAO in secondment from France within the RPAS Program. He is specifically involved in SARPs amendments including Annex 1, introducing the remote pilot licence for international flights.
Denis JAUVIN is also a commercial pilot, flight instructor and has accumulated over 6 000 hours of flight experience.
