This year we are accepting proposals for the following session types:
- Technical Presentations – Technical presentations are 30 minutes, with 1-2 speakers, and focus on research related to unmanned systems technology development in areas including artificial intelligence, autonomy, vision systems, communications, sensors and related topics. These presentations are research based and require a supporting technical paper to be submitted prior to the conference for inclusion in the event proceedings.
- Open Speaking Proposal – Open speaking proposals encompass all oral presentations except technical presentations. This may include panels and standalone speaking opportunities.
- Poster Presentations – Research-based poster presentations will be held in the XPO Hall during the conference. During designated viewing hours, presenters will be required to accompany their poster and interact with attendees. While poster presentations will address important unmanned systems topic areas, presenters WILL NOT be required to submit a technical paper supporting their work.
Submitting a Technical Proposal or Poster Proposal
AUVSI will accept technical proposals via the Call for Speakers. Proposals will be considered for the 2019 technical program as well as for poster presentations taking place in the XPO Hall. All proposals will be peer reviewed by at least two members of the XPONENTIAL Technical Planning Committee.
Technical presentation presenters will be expected to participate in the conference and provide a technical paper supporting their presentation, which will be published in the conference proceedings. Technical papers do not need to be submitted with the application. Technical papers will be due in April 2019.
Poster presenters will be expected to participate in the conference and be present with their poster during designated viewing hours. A technical paper will not be required.
