UAVOS INC. has announced developing its own gyro-stabilized 3-axis gimbal with integrated day-to-day FHD video camera and 30x optical zoom (RGB camera with Full HD resolution and 30x optical zoom) with Ethernet output. This gimbal has an extended temperature range of operation and is suited for harsh environments. The new gimbal has a compact size, low weight of 2,64lb (1,2kg), and a strong mechanical aluminum-cased structure.
In addition, UAVOS Gimbal integrates with UAVOS’s autopilot which allows obtaining coordinates of ground objects.
Two axes of stabilization 360+ degrees offer the possibility to get images from any point of view, the third axis and precision stabilization provide high image quality at maximum 30x optical zoom. The high degree of stabilization allows to successfully operate this gimbal on UAVOS helicopters in conditions of increased vibrations.
Cameras can get images in any position because UAVOS gimbal features unlimited rotation on three axes. The gimbal is also equipped with high-precision 17-bit encoders that provide excellent image stabilization and precision.

UAVOS Inc. has announced the release of the pMDDLRadio Data Link, an advanced UAV communication system aimed at the unmanned systems market. The pMDDLRadio is an easy plug & play device, which gives a solution that packages all drone communication into a single RF channel, except using separate solutions for control, telemetry and payload, thereby reducing the cost and weight.
The system uses open architecture and enables full duplex wideband digital link, error correction techniques and high-rate communication in the Uplink (UPL) and Downlink (DNL) channels.
Having a weight of 50g, dimensions 90x65x20mm (23g & 40x50x12mm, without enclosure), and power transmission of up to 1 Watts, the pMDDLRadio is ideal for UAV, UGVs (unmanned ground vehicles), and other robotic applications. The advanced system has a wide input power range and meets the power supply requirements of the aerospace standard DO-160. The pMDDLRadio can be used both as an Airborne Data Terminal and as Ground Data Terminal. It can transmit and receive real-time video images, data and information from most available sensors.

UAVOS has announced the introduction of the company’s new Auto-Tracking Antenna System, a new portable ground-to-air antenna that designed to incorporate unmanned aircraft. The tracking antenna enables long-range data transmission and is particularly suitable for unmanned aircraft applications. Combined with UAVOS’s ground control unit Tracking Antenna System it significantly increases the quality and range of stable communication transmission.
New Auto-Tracking Antenna System has 2 communication channels with different types of antennas:

UAVOS will introduce the unmanned aircraft to fly in the stratosphere which is capable of evolutionizing defense, humanitarian, and environmental missions all over the world. ApusDuo, UAVOS’ solar-electric stratospheric unmanned aircraft, combines the advantage of a satellite with the flexibility and persistence of an UAV.
Also featured will be the HiDRON, unmanned stratospheric glider to launch, lift and return in-situ earth observation instruments. HiDRON, the joint project of UAVOS and Stratodynamics Aviation Inc., has successfully completed the next stage of the meteorological probe tests at an altitude of 25 km with a payload of 650 gr. The test flight lasted 4 hours.
UAVOS will also demonstrate the complete turnkey UAS solutions, and convert existing manned aircraft into unmanned platforms. The company portfolio includes a fixed wing UAV based on a Pipistrel Sinus light aircraft and a Robinson rotary-wing UAV with a maximum take off and landing of 635kg. The converted aircraft in fully automatic mode successfully carries out missions as required by customers' R&D projects. The purpose of modernized aircrafts is to carry out commercial works on multispectral and radar monitoring of ground objects and marine areas, for cargo transportation.
The rotary-wing UAV equipped with state-of-the-art technologies will also be showcased at UAVOS booth. Unmanned aircraft can perform defense and commercial missions. One of them is UVH-170E–the industrial grade helicopter with a four-stroke injector gasoline engine equipped with a generator-starter. Take-off, landing and mission execution are carried out automatically. The UVH-170E is designed for operation in a hot and moist tropical climate and has improved engine cooling.
UAVOS will also demonstrate advanced Fixed Wing UAV Borey-20. Modernized version of Borey-20 got an increased flight duration from 4 to 6 hours, and payload weight from 2 to 4kg. This modification of Borey-20 is also designed to install gas analyzers for finding leaks of methane on the ground.
UAVOS will present a wide range of the cutting-edge componentscontributing to the development of the unmanned systems industry by providing the best of solutions and technologies. The Portable Ground Control Station (PGCS)is based on a console with controls and a docking interface for a military-grade rugged Getac X500 laptop computer. All main UAV and payload controls are collected on the ergonomic control panel. Console joysticks, push-buttons and switches are industrial water-proofed units. Console housing is made of aluminum alloy.
Auto-Tracking Antenna System for enabling long-range data transmission for unmanned aircraft applications, with its precision targeting, makes it possible to use high gain directional antennas.

The UVH-170E is adapted for flying in a tropical climate and is equipped with a modified payload for operations outside of direct radio coverage. The aircraft is capable to work out wide range of tasks both in the interests of civil and law enforcement agencies.
Temperature range is from -35Сº to +50Сº (-31°F to + 122°F). The UVH-170E has a wide speed range - from 0 km/h at the time of hovering to the highest achieved speed of 120 km/h (75 mi/h). UVH-170E is able to take off from high-altitude platforms at 2000 meters above the sea level and more, and carry a payload of 4 kg for 5 hours. The aircraft has a four-stroke gasoline engine equipped with an injector with altitude correction up to 4000 meters, a starter and a generator. The UAV is able to fly in autorotation mode and is equipped with a ballistic parachute.
The main feature of the Autopilot is distributed architecture. Each component has its own microcontroller which provides data processing and communication with other components in the CAN network. The configuration allows to function without the central processor and to distribute control tasks throughout all components of the system. At the same time there is no limit to the number of modules, which makes it possible to implement multiple redundancy at all levels. By adding interface modules, it is possible to integrate almost any payload, ready-made third-party modules and entire systems into the system.

The vendor package includes a high-capacity battery which enables flight time up to 1.5 hours with a MTOW of 66 lbs (30 kg), and a payload weight of 11-13.2 lbs (5-6 kg). The unmanned helicopter is equipped with two lithium-ion batteries assembled by UAVOS.
The aircraft is all-weather, and can perform flights at a temperature ranging from -4F to +104F (-20C to +40C). Radius of data transmission in direct radio visibility in the basic configuration is 43.5 miles (70 km). UAV implements retransmission of data on the command line, which significantly increases the area of safe operation of the complex. The EW countermeasure function makes it possible to carry out research operations in the conditions of jamming ofsatellite radio navigation signals and the command line channel.

The aircraft is made according to the "flying wing" scheme. A take-off is made from unequipped sites, and landing at any assigned point of the terrain. Take-off is carried out with the help of a rubber rope or a catapult, landing with a parachute. The aircraft lands on its back, which reduces the likelihood of damaging the payload – since the payload is protected by the same aircraft.
Borey-10 is equipped with a system of emergency wings drop, which works in emergency situations during the landing. The console, touching the surface of the earth, is unfastened from the center wing and absorbs the impact energy. The aircraft remains unharmed.
Borey-10 range for the transfer of real-time video in difficult meteorological conditions during operation is at least 30 km, and for control - at least 70 km.
