    Pathlock is a lightweight addition to any autopilot system which provides an exact numerical solution to keep the vehicle on position, on velocity, and on time for every sample period of the flight control system for the entire trajectory....

  • Pathlock, or the Continuous Path Regulator (CPR) is a lightweight addition to the flight navigation and control system of any autopilot. It is also useful in robotics, animatronics, and anywhere the control system needs to produce precise movement with respect to time.  Given a planned trajectory such as the movement of an actuator in one dimension or a vehicle in three dimensions, CPR takes as input the current state of the machine -- position, velocity, and time -- and produces an exact mathematical simultaneous solution to match the desired position and velocity at the end of the current sample period.  Unlike common control system algorithms that try to minimze an error term, CPR provides exact solutions for every sample time. CPR consists of two equations, the first solves the velocity profile for the next sample period and the second is a transfer function to convert that into the controls needed by the flight system.  This allows the vehicle to stay on time, on velocity, and on position for every moment of the trajectory which is a prerequisite for accurate deconfliction of the flight path.

    Autopath is a Flight Path Management System which works in conjunction with UTM to create correct-by-construction deconflicted flight paths through complex urban areas. It optimizes paths to mission and vehicle and provides full services....

  • AutoPath is an integration of geospatial data, autorouting algorithms, and “big data” IT.  It runs on a server farm so that it has all of the information it requires to analyze the mission profile, determine and construct the appropriate datasets, vehicle parameters, and cost metrics, and then find and deconflict the path. 
    • AutoPath works with Detect & Avoid, UTM and Vehicle Navigation Systems .  Automation is better, faster, cheaper, and safer than reliance on piloted systems or Detect & Avoid.  
    • AutoPath provides true and precise autorouting that constructs deconflicted flightpaths that maximize safety, enables organic self-organization of flight corridors (virtual highways), optimizes airspace utilization, and selects a flightpath most suitable to the mission objectives. 
    • Autopath anticipates potential conflicts along the entire flightpath, enabling minor (almost imperceptible) avoidance maneuvers that can begin (and end) well before the conflicting vehicle is within sensor range.
    • AutoPath provides precise scheduling, expected arrival alerts, tracking, automated authorizations, coordination with UTM systems, reporting, etc.
