Austal USA is an advanced ship manufacturer located in Mobile, Ala. with global operations. Positioned to support commercial and government ship construction, Austal builds the Independence-variant Littoral Combat Ship and the Expeditionary Fast Transport for the U.S. Navy. Both platforms incorporate a high degree of autonomy to enable the ships to be operated with minimal crew. Our hull, mechanical and electrical automation approach builds from our extensive experience in high speed vessel control and monitoring systems.
