Elaine Bitonti leads Business Development for Mission Systems at Collins Aerospace, a business of Raytheon Technologies. In this role, she is responsible for leading the Strategic Business Unit’s efforts to identify and capture new business opportunities, both in the U.S. and internationally.
Since joining Rockwell Collins in 2010, the predecessor of Collins Aerospace, Bitonti has held a series of increasingly responsible leadership positions. Most recently, she led Business Development for the $1.4 billion Communications, Navigation & Guidance Solutions portfolio within Mission Systems.
Bitonti began her career at Collins in the Simulation and Training business and was then appointed to lead a department responsible for Strike and Strategic C2 business development, which included fighter, bomber, trainer and NC3 aircraft. She was promoted to director in 2015 and took over business development responsibility for the Strategic and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) business area.
Prior to her time at Collins Aerospace, Bitonti spent 10 years at Lockheed Martin Corporation. She began her career as a financial analyst, progressed into program management and eventually found her passion working in the Business Development organization focused on adjacent market expansion.
