Profile
Scott Crino, Ph.D. served 21 years as an officer in the U.S. Army as an attack helicopter pilot, then later as an operations research analyst. Dr. Crino held several command and staff positions and is a veteran of several combat and peace enforcement operations in the Middle East, South Asia and East Africa. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in industrial engineering from the University of Buffalo and Texas A&M University, respectively, and a Ph.D. in systems engineering from the University of Virginia.
Upon retirement in June 2012, Dr Crino launched Crino Consulting Group, later renamed Red Six Solutions in October 2015. Red Six is a strategic advisory consulting service that practices the art of Red Teaming. Red Teaming traces its roots to military operations where leaders must assess mission readiness and scrutinize battle plans to discover weaknesses, foresee adversary actions and improve strategies. This group of “professional bad guys” has become the nation’s premier threat UAS provider for both government and private organizations. Red Six builds and flies small unmanned aircraft systems and conducts simulated attacks on friendly forces and installations supporting more than 50 events annually with active contracts supporting the United States Air Force, United States Marine Corps, Department of Homeland Security, Combatting Terrorism Technical Support Office and others.
