Jordan Hahn is one of the founding members of Overwatch Aero, LLC. Overwatch Aero is an unmanned aerial systems (UAS) services company working to introduce mid-sized unmanned systems into the commercial marketspace and provides persistent real-time situational awareness to emergency responders in support of California wildland fires.
Prior to helping start Overwatch Aero, Jordan spent ten years working in and around the aerospace industry in both the private and public sector. Most recently, he spent seven years working as a civilian for the United States Air Force and United States Government conducting both manned and unmanned airborne operations. During these times he worked as an operations officer and engineer on various programs leading tactical aircrews in the launch and recovery of airborne assets at both domestic and foreign bases. Prior to joining Government service, Jordan worked as a structural engineer for L-3 Communications and for Boeing working stability and control.
He received his Bachelor of Science in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. While there, he also received his private pilot license through the local flying club and now has a few hundred hours of VFR flight time.
Jordan lives in Santa Ynez, CA with his wife and two young kids. While not working to get Overwatch Aero off the ground he enjoys going on $100 hamburger flights with his family in their 1976 Grumman Tiger.
