Profile
An experienced Firefighter with a demonstrated history of working in the public safety industry. He was an essential leader in the development of the Los Angeles City Fire Department (LAFD) Public Safety Remote Pilot Certification Program, training firefighters to safely operate Unmanned Aerial Systems. He has in depth knowledge of core Remote Pilot program concepts such as Aviation Training Operations Procedures Standardization (ATOPS), Operational Risk Management (ORM), Crew Resource Management (CRM), and Aeronautical Decision Making (ADM). Skilled in Tactical EMS, Confined Space Rescue, Search & Rescue, Hazmat Operations, Fire Suppression Systems, and EMT-Paramedic. He currently volunteers as an FAA Safety Team Representative and Drone-Pro to further the FAA aviation safety mission.
Upon serving 26 Honorable years in the US Navy, he retired at the rank of Senior Chief Petty Officer. Senior Chief Danielson achieved 22 years as a US Navy Helicopter Crewchief, with distinctive qualifications as a Special Operations Forces Support Tactical Aircewman, Rescue Swimmer, and Search and Rescue Medical Technician.
His ability to contribute his military aviation experience has been essential to evolving the LAFD UAS Program as a recognized national leader in Public Safety UAS development.
