Profile
Mathew is the Commercial Market Leader for Deloitte US Drone Services and Leader of its Sensing and Aerial Solutions Practice. He provides client leaders with strategy, technology, and operations consulting. He focuses on bringing energy, healthcare, infrastructure, and industrial clients tailored data driven solutions. He brings deep subject matter experience in aerial, remote sensing, and data strategy, operations, logistics, and scaling. His teams have executed various multifaceted projects that have included planning; current state analysis; use case definition; flight operations; data collection, analysis, and visualization; and program stand-up. Mat also serves as a Deloitte US ground robotics lead, which enables him to bring cutting edge robotics solutions to market.
Mathew has developed, managed, and led innovation programs at two large professional service firms. He has recently spoken at International Security Conference East’s 2018 Unmanned Security Expo, moderated the panel entitled Aerial Patrols: Best Practices in Data Gathering & Analysis for Utility Vegetation Management and Asset Integrity at the California Public Utility Commission’s 2019 Wildfire Tech Summit, and sat on both Airwork’s 2019 & 2020 Commercial Industry Trends Panel. He is a sitting member of the Unmanned Aircraft Safety Team, an industry-government partnership committed to ensuring the safe operations of unmanned aircraft systems in the national airspace system. Mathew holds a J.D. from Syracuse University’s College of Law, an M.A. in International Relations from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School, and a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
