Kongsberg Geospatial

  • Booth: 1266

Welcome, please contact Paige Cutland at our booth, #1266.

Kongsberg Geospatial creates real-time software for mapping, geospatial visualization, and situational awareness. Their products are deployed in solutions for air-traffic control, Command and Control, and air defense. Kongsberg Geospatial has become a leading technology provider for unmanned systems mission control and ground control systems.

  • IRIS UxS
IRIS UAS is an airspace situational awareness system developed to provide Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) operators with the necessary situational awareness to safely operate Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) Beyond Visual Line-of-Sight (BVLOS)....

  • IRIS UxS is an airspace visualization system that provides Unmanned Systems (UxS) operators with real-time situational awareness for

BVLOS operations in an integrated UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) airspace.

IRIS is a combination of software and sensor technology that gives operators a precise real-time picture of their operational airspace when piloting one or more unmanned vehicles beyond visual line-of-sight (BVLOS).

The system presents users with a single integrated operating picture that includes 2D and 3D map and terrain data; aeronautical information including aerodrome locations, obstacles, and airspaces; and real-time data from sensors, cameras and drone telemetry.

IRIS is also integrated with near-time ATM / UTM data sources including the Harris® National ATM feed and LATAS®.

IRIS Airspace Management (AM) is an airspace visualization system created to help manage airspaces around critical infrastructure. IRIS AM allows users to safely integrate friendly UAS into protected airspaces while preventing intrusion by hostile UAS....

  • IRIS AM (Airspace Management), is a real-time Airspace Management System, which provides operators with a clear picture of all manned and unmanned air traffic in an operational airspace.

Utilizing real-time data sources including RADAR, telemetry and ADS-B, IRIS AM calculates the airspace separation between all contacts in the operational space, and between each ownship and the terrain.

The system computes the projected flight path of every detected aircraft forward through time, and displays warnings, alerts and cues to the operator if there is a danger of a developing airspace conflict, or an intrusion by unauthorized UAS.
