  • The DA 15‐N is our smallest and lightest full brushless actuator. Its brushless motor and contactless, wear-free position sensing system makes the DA 15‐N immune to wear, vibrations and shock loads. It has especially been designed for usage in harsh environments and for safety-critical applications that require an actuator with high endurance. The conductive aluminum case and the shielded connection cable are reducing the susceptibility to any kind to EMI/RFI noise to the absolute minimum. The servo features position, temperature and current feedback as a standard and is fully programmable Advantages of the full brushless actuator: Maximized service life through vibration‐resistant, brushless DC motor Brushless motor technology eliminates the typical electromagnetic noise of brush‐type motors and provides ultra‐long endurance Contactless, wear-free position sensing system Aluminum housing with minimal weight and size in functional design The saltwater‐resistant, HART‐coat treated aluminum housing withstands at least 100 hours of salt water spray without damage and meets the IP‐67 standard for water and dust protection Excellent immunity to any kind of electromagnetic noise achieved with aluminum housing, low electromagnetic emissions through brushless motor Several programming possibilities, e.g. overload protection of the internal electric brushless motor, which allows reducing the motor current if the motor is being overloaded
  • DA 22-BLDC
The DA 22 BLDC is the next generation of our proven DA 22 actuator range, featuring a brushless BLDC motor and contactless position sensing....

  • Immune to wear, vibrations and shock loads. Designed for usage in harsh environments and for safety-critical applications. EMI/RFI noise reduced to the absolute minimum. The CNC machined sealed cases, made of saltwater-resistant aluminum, comply with the IP 67 standard. ISS gear protection system as an option and are fully programmable. It features an industrial circular connector with M9 thread. Optionally available with a MIL-specified connector or an integrated shielded cable with cable gland. The cases offer integrated lug mounts for both horizontal and vertical installation. DA 22 BLDC with digital serial command interface (RS-485) receives its commands via a CRC secured protocol. It can return shaft position in digital format, several diagnostic data, supply voltage reading, current consumption and the internal temperature in digital form.
  • DA 30-HT
The DA 30-HT guarantee maximum safety and reliability, our DA 30 features a brushless motor and a contactless wear-free position sensor. This...

  • The housing made of saltwater‐resistant aluminum is HART‐coat treated, meets the IP‐67 standard and provides an integrated Sub‐D connector. 8‐fold, ball‐bearing supported, steel gear train, drive shaft with ANSI multi‐tooth. It can be equipped with a standard PWM input that has two different interfaces: a differential, galvanic isolated interface (Opto‐Coupler) and a single‐ended interface with CMOS levels. Includes analog position feedback. RS‐422 PWM interface can be chosen instead of the opto‐coupled interface. Digital serial command interface (RS‐485) receives its commands via a CRC secured protocol. Returns shaft position in digital format, diagnostic data as the level of the supply voltage, current consumption and the temperature of the motor and electronics in digital form.
  • DA 30-HT-D
The fully redundant DA 30-HT-D has been developed for applications with the highest reliability demands....

  • The fully redundant DA 30-HT-D has been developed for applications with the highest reliability demands. The redundant – two-channel – design of the actuator allows continuous operation even if one of the two channels has failed. All major components such as the electric motors, control and communication electronics, and power supply are available twice (redundant). The position sensor features a three-channel design (for 2 out of 3 voting). Additionally, there are several sensors integrated to provide diagnostic information such as current consumption, supply voltage levels and temperature readings. All major components of the actuator are continuously diagnosed by the microcontrollers of the actuator and its health status can be read via the redundant RS485 interface.
  • DA 58-D
The DA 58-D with a peak torque of >200Nm / 1770 lbf-in and a rated torque of 80Nm / 708 lbf-in, the fully redundant DA 58-D is the strongest, electromechanical, fully integrated actuator in the VOLZ Family....

  • Besides the well proven redundant RS 485 interface it also features a redundant CAN bus interface. Developed for applications with highest reliability demands. The redundant – two channel – design of the actuator allows continuous operation even if one of the two channels has failed. All major components such as the electric motors, control and communication electronics, and power supply are available twice (redundant). The actuator features a triple redundant position sensor (2 out of 3 voting). Additionally there are several sensors integrated to provide diagnostic information such as current consumption, supply voltage levels and temperature readings. All major components of the actuator are continuously diagnosed by the microcontrollers of the actuator and its health status can be read via the redundant RS485 / CAN interface.
