Nippon Kayaku is pleased to present Parasafe, the latest and most advanced parachute safety system for industrial sUAS. Nippon Kayaku is a Japanese diversified manufacturer centered on chemistry. We have more than 100 years of history and more than 5800 employee worldwide. At Nippon Kayaku's core are technologies of fine chemicals, which we have built up in the fields of explosives, dyes and pharmaceuticals (all of which derived from our original products) along with resins (a field we entered later), among others. With these core technologies, and new technologies created through their fusions, we have been conceiving new products and businesses in 11 countries worldwide.

    PS CA12-01 : Emergency parachute / Passive safety device. This device reduces fatal risks to people in your flight and provides added value of safety and trust to your large drone, delivery drone and commercial drone. <br />...

    • Nippon Kayaku is developing a parachute safety device for drones that applies the pyrotechnic device technology that we have accumulated from airbag inflators, gas generating devices used for seatbelts, and other automotive safety components. This device brings a drone down safely by detecting a falling drone, remotely initiating the pyrotechnic device, and launching the parachute rapidly. This will protect the body of drone, the cargo, and human lives, and will broaden the areas where drones are actively used even more. We can already provide a sample product to drone manufacturers or users and solicit their opinions to improve the reliability of the safety device. We expect to begin offering the device as a product from late 2021.
