Outdoor
Demos

Technology in Action

The Outdoor Demos at XPONENTIAL give you a first-hand look at the latest advances in uncrewed technology live in action. Get your daily dose of vitamin D while you take in these curated experiences brought to you by top industry experts - this is not to be missed!

Barfield

Barfield will show the versatility of its Q800X quad rotor which is geared towards the public safety market. Their demo will showcase the ease of both autonomous or manual flight and the ability to quickly change out payloads.

This closed-course demo will show three “reduced” public safety missions:

  • With EO/IR payload
  • Perform 45’ flight in automatic mode
  • Change the payload on the drone and start a new mission right away

DJI

Join DJI team for a firsthand experience with the latest M30 Series, 3rd party payload integrations with the M300, and how these solutions can help to increase efficiency across public safety, inspection and surveying industries.

Einride

Einride will be hosting demos of the Einride Pod, a fully autonomous, electric freight vehicle, in operation at AUVSI Xponential. Tiffany, the world’s first Remote Pod Operator, will be remotely monitoring the Pod from our Remote Pod Operation Station in Austin, Texas to showcase Einride’s approach to the future of shipping jobs.

NIST sUAS Test Lanes Presented by DRONERESPONDERS

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has developed a series of tests for sUAS that can be used to objectively evaluate drone capabilities and remote pilot proficiency. The test lanes apply to Open, Obstructed, and Confined environments, and are scalable to evaluate Sensors from various altitudes. All XPONENTIAL attendees are welcome to visit the NIST Test Lanes presented by DRONERESPONDERS live in the outdoor demonstration area. FAA Part 107-certified remote pilots may fly the course with their commercial VTOL aircraft weighing under 10 lbs.

Skydio

Drones have become valuable situational awareness tools, but manually piloted drones still require heavy training. Skydio Autonomy™ has the skills of an expert pilot. It uses AI to understand the world around it and predict into the future to make intelligent decisions. These Skydio demos will show you how our autonomous navigation and capture capabilities can help you gather high quality data safer and faster.

TruWeather Solutions Inc.

Existing weather models do not accurately predict fog, high fog, thunderstorms, and icing due to insufficient measurement data in the mid and lower levels of the atmosphere. The Meteodrone is a mobile weather station that can be flown up to 20,000 ft with a waiver to fill in these gaps for BVLOS and large drone operations.
