Description

In today’s autonomous revolution, there is an unmet need for a solution to efficiently and quickly transform fleets of off-road and logistics vehicles into one that is autonomous. While market autonomy solutions have historically been very limited in their ability to run outdoors in mixed terrain, the industry is ready to innovate with high demand for a solution that can go beyond these ideal environments. It is time to take autonomy to the next level by simplifying the approach to address challenging off-road applications. In short, autonomous vehicles don’t have to be limited by difficult terrain and complexity. This session introduces a new and proven solution to address the complex terrain challenge. Modular Autonomous Vehicle (MAV) software is a full-stack autonomous software suite that allows UGVs to traverse complicated routes and terrain for various types of mission profiles. Modular by design, additional autonomy behaviors unique to each project or mission can be added. Highlighted by real-world examples and use cases, attendees will be introduced to a practical guide to the off-road autonomy software suite that has been proven on a variety of vehicle platforms.
