Description

Description: This workshop (Part 1 and 2) will address the cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities for our industry, and further explore the requirements for compliance under Green UAS, Blue UAS, and AUVSI’s Trusted Cyber Program. The workshop will include a review of the voluntary certification program and the relevant cybersecurity guidelines and frameworks that make up the program.

Learning Objectives:

As an attendee, you will obtain the following information

  • An overview of relevant cybersecurity requirements for uncrewed and autonomous vehicles
  • Receive information about relevant threats and cybersecurity risks that could harm the industry if not mitigated.
  • Distinguish between Green and Blue UAS programs and understand common issues and vulnerabilities.
  • Understand the benefits of complying with AUVSI’s Trusted Cyber Program.

Agenda for Part 1:

  • Overview of Threats and Geo-political Considerations - Speakers will review and discuss the current state of cybersecurity risks and threats from a global perspective.  Attendees will learn about threats and vulnerabilities that shape US domestic policy.
  • Green UAS & Blue UAS Explained – In an effort to expand the number of commercial uncrewed aircraft systems that meet the highest levels of cybersecurity and NDAA supply chain requirements, Green UAS was launched. In this presentation, DIU and AUVSI will showcase the Green and Blue UAS programs and the relationship between the two organizations.
