The United States Department of Defense and the US Government represent one of the largest markets in the world. In this interactive workshop, we'll break down the acronym soup, address entry points for small businesses, break down what "dual-use" means, and explore product-market fit with dual-use innovations. The government marketplace is a full-contact sport. This workshop is run accordingly and functions like a jiu-jitsu class. It is designed for the first-time student and the seasoned practitioner. Upper belts are expected to participate and work with lower belts during the breakout session. There's something for everyone to learn.

  • How to Start - It's all about networking -5 minutes
  • Dual Use Product-Market-Fit & End User Feedback - Is my product necessary? - How do I know if they like what I'm building? – 5 minutes
  • Connecting the Dots & Breakouts: - Small group breakout to craft a dual-use product, explain the fit, and the path to contracting – 40 minutes
  • Presentation of Breakout Groups (30 second elevator pitches), voting, and prizes to the winners -  The government may say "we do not select winners and losers" - but we will – 10 minutes
