Profile

Dr. David Thirtyacre is a Prof at the Embry-Riddle Aero Univ. He is the Chair and Chief Pilot for the Dept of Flight. David holds a Bachelor’s in ME, a Master’s in Aerospace Science, and a Ph.D. in Aviation. His research is focused on the use of UAS in air combat, VR flight simulation, and conservation applications of sUAS. He is a retired USAF Col and fighter pilot with 27 years of duty. He is the owner of SkyVue 3D, a multi-engine comm pilot, RPC, AUVSI TOP Level-3 instructor, and a CFII.
