Description

The workshop is designed to ensure that industry representations align with the Standard Occupational Codes (SOC), which are vital for compiling federal labor statistics. Participants will explore the significance of SOC codes, recommend new codes for more accurate industry representation, and discuss the procedure for advocating these changes, including how to draft effective support letters.

The insights and recommendations generated during the workshop will inform AUVSI's proposals to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) regarding the adoption of new SOC codes.
