Description

This workshop offers a unique chance to talk to new people representing other domains and industrial areas within autonomous transportation, to find common ground and inspire collaboration where least expected!

Development of all autonomous solutions, in any ecosystem, begins with a solid Hazard Identification to safeguard a product that is sufficiently safe for people around it.

These early stages of product development will ultimately affect most areas of the autonomous industry ranging from product development, insurance, laws & legislation, and more.

We will cover aspects of Functional Safety, Cyber Security, and Machine Safety as well as safety orientations of interest to you as attendee.

This is a dynamic session where YOU, your ecosystem, and your line of work are in focus.

- Join us to explore how YOU could benefit from industrial collaborations for Hazard identification, beyond subject domains!

The starting point of this workshop is to identify synergies for Risk and Hazard Identification across multiple ecosystems and Safety and Security domains. Subsequently, we are going to use these findings with the aim to explore potential ways of optimizing not only the Risk Identification Process itself, but other areas and domains of the industry as well.

We will explore potential benefits of joint efforts for Risk Identification such as time optimization, extended hazard/risk coverage, and ways for more systematic, data driven, and continuous processes.

The Workshop is divided in to three parts:

1. Break out groups: Hazard identification of each domain and ecosystem
You will be divided in to Break-out groups depending on what area, domain, and ecosystem you work with: Automotive, Marine, Aerospace, railway etc. Attendees with similar backgrounds will initially work together to brainstorm on Risks & Hazards of products within your own domain.
Coaches will circle the groups and moderate discussions.

2. Scrambled groups: Share results with other domains and ecosystems
This is where we share our results from the previous discussions with other people representing other domains to look for synergies:
- Do we have any frequently reoccurring Hazards?
- Any Hazards that we have in common all together?

3. Re-assembly: Share synergies and conclude benefits
- What can we learn from other Ecosystems while identifying risks?
- What are the benefits of Identifying Risks across different Safety & Cyber Security domains?

We will look into this and discuss how joint Risk Identification efforts could benefit different areas of the autonomous transportation industry.
