XPONENTIAL’s PRIVACY POLICY WAS UPDATED ON October 5, 2022.

Messe Düsseldorf North America, Inc. d/b/a Messe Düsseldorf North America (referred to as “MDNA”), the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International d/b/a the Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (referred to as “AUVSI”) and PFM Events, LLC (referred to as “PFM”) (referred to collectively as “we,” “us,” “our,” “ours,” or the “Site”) are committed to helping protect the privacy of members, customers, subscribers, registrants, attendees, exhibitors, and any others (“you,” “your,” “yours,” “user,” or “users”) who may use the Site. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their Personally Identifiable Information (“PII” or “personal information” or “information”) is being collected and used. PII, as described in applicable laws, regulations, and information security guidelines, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. As used in this Privacy Policy, “Site” means XPONENTIAL’s primary website, any related or derivative websites or webpages, including those of any other published content (“blogs” and similar formats), and any business applications (“apps”).

When joining, renewing, purchasing, registering, subscribing, or making any other transaction to obtain a product, service, or information, you may be asked to provide your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, business information, or other details necessary to complete the transaction and enhance your experience.

We collect information from you when you make any transaction described above on our Site.

How do we use your information?

We may use the information we collect from you in the following ways:

  • To process your transactions quickly and efficiently.
  • To deliver the purchased product.

How do we protect your information?

Our Site is scanned on a regular basis for security threats and known vulnerabilities, using malware scanning tools. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only permissibly accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

Transactions processed through a gateway or other third-party provider and are not stored or processed on our servers. Please be aware, however, that no method of data transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic data storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to protect your PII, we cannot guarantee the absolute security, integrity, and privacy of any or all information exchanged between you and us through the Site. We make no warranty, express, implied, or otherwise, that we will prevent unauthorized access to or use of your personally identifiable information.

Why do we engage in this practice?

We engage in this practice because, we organize trade shows, and we need to provide our third-party vendors, facilities, and general contractors with contact information for all exhibiting companies and attendees. This is done so the exhibitors and attendees are able to order services from third-party vendors. At times, we may provide certain Personal Information that we have collected to select customers as part of sponsor fulfillment where applicable. You will always have the ability to opt-out of having your Personal Information included in such cases either as part of the registration process for the applicable event or by contacting us at xpo@mdna.com.

Data Retention

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active, your information is needed to provide you services, or as required to fulfill our legal obligations. If you wish to delete your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us at xpo@mdna.com. We will respond to your request within thirty (30) days. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Do we use “cookies?”

Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer’s hard drive through your web browser (if you allow) that enables the site or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. Profile

The Site may also allow you to create a profile (“Profile”). Submission of information for your Profile is voluntary. We wish to remind you that any information you disclose in your Profile, including any Personally Identifiable Information, will become public information and visible to other users. We use Google AdSense Advertising on our Site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve advertisement to you based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. Users may opt-out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google Ad and Content Network privacy policy.

We have implemented the following:

If you use our mobile app, we may send you push notifications from time-to-time in order to update you about any special events or conference sessions that we may be running. If you no longer wish to receive these types of communications, you may turn them off at the device level.

You can also set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Settings page. Alternatively, you can opt out by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative Opt Out page or by using the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser add on.

California Online Privacy Protection Acts

Pursuant to CalOPPA, we note the following:

  • Users can visit our Site anonymously
  • You will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on our Privacy Policy Page
  • Can change your personal information by logging in to your account
  • We honor Do Not Track signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a Do Not Track (DNT) browser mechanism is in place
