PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Keynote Sponsored by:

2023 Theme: The Blueprint for Autonomy

As a community, we are moving beyond the vision-setting phase for autonomy and are drawing up a blueprint to fully operationalize and integrate these systems. And while a collective focus on the same grand design is critical, how we work together will determine how smoothly and quickly we achieve full integration and realize the potential of our industry.

That blueprint for autonomy is already being drafted. It includes considerations for design, operationalization, integration, and safeguarding. Its material needs consist of policy and regulations, public engagement, safety and security, data management, testing and certification, among others. So just as an architect’s two-dimensional design becomes a three-dimensional reality, our community will come together to identify new perspectives, avoid potential incongruities, and keep apace in pursuit of our shared goal.

The 2023 Core Program includes a variety of session formats.

KEYNOTES

Forward-looking insights that prepare attendees for what's next. These keynote sessions help guide and shape attendees' perspective and provide additional context for everything they will learn and experience at XPONENTIAL. Expect exciting demonstrations, technical industry expertise, and government stakeholders to share current priorities and updates.

SPOTLIGHT SESSIONS

To showcase cross-cutting themes in the industry, the Spotlight Sessions will feature experts across domains addressing key obstacles to safety, ethics, and security of autonomous and uncrewed systems. Presenters will feature leaders in their respective fields and encourage the audience to think beyond their roles and responsibilities to consider the broader application within their organizations and fields.

*Requires Full Conference Pass

BREAKOUT SESSIONS

Attendees participating in breakout sessions will experience dedicated forums for exploring focused topics relevant to their industries, work, and operations. These sessions will feature concentrated presentations, panel discussions, and audience questions to help drive deeper conversations and solutions to some of the industry’s greatest hurdles.

Track themes include:

  • Designing Autonomy – Data Foundation & Usage
  • Designing Autonomy – Technical Development
  • Operationalizing Autonomy
  • Integrating Autonomy: Policy & Regulation
  • Integrating Autonomy: Public Engagement & Impact

DE&I Programming

As the only event designed to advance the entire uncrewed ecosystem, XPONENTIAL 2023 is where we will drive important conversations that cultivate diversity and inclusiveness. Woven throughout all educational programming, we will explore:

  • How does bolstering DE&I within organizations improve decision-making, innovation, and engagement?
  • What changes are needed that the industry can make today, and where do we want to be in the future?
  • What are best practices for increasing equity and inclusiveness for end users, from technological discovery to platform design and integration?

CO-LOCATED EVENTS

AUVSI takes great care in selecting top industry organizations that can present compelling information and innovative ideas to help advance uncrewed systems and autonomy. The option to participate in a co-located event allows attendees to enhance their experience through unique training and education with experts in public safety, weather, law, education, defense acquisition, and maintenance and repair.
