The Aerial Mapping Technologies and Procedures workshop will provide UAS professionals the knowledge to plan, execute, and evaluate UAS mapping projects. This workshop should be attended by UAS professionals that want to start mapping with drones, as well as those who are already mapping and want to expand their knowledge base beyond the basic procedures.
Agenda:
Mapping and surveying is used prominently by professionals within the UAS industry. Software and hardware can make deployment and data processing a simple procedure, however, much is lost behind the easy-button approach. This workshop will provide UAS professionals the knowledge to plan, execute, and evaluate UAS mapping projects. We will cover technical subjects like photogrammetry, lidar, ground control, RTK, and more.
