PNI is the major navigation product & technology company that specializes in providing highly accurate, precise position and navigation data to guide unmanned systems. By fusing of proprietary sensor data with proven proprietary algorithms and Edge AI, PNI’s family of products deliver stunningly reliable navigation data for use in unmanned vehicles in the air, on the ground and in and under water.
The NaviGuider is the first complete sensor-based guidance for UAVs, ocean gliders, robots, and buoys that requires no external calibration and no additional algorithms, making it simple and easy to integrate.
It incorporates an RM3100 magnetic sensor, an accelerometer and a gyroscope, all tightly fused on a super low- power Edge-AI sensor coprocessor, freeing up your host processor for other work and comes super-charged with the latest, military grade algorithms, including continuous hard and soft-iron magnetic auto- calibration, important magnetic anomaly compensation and industry-leading and real-world proven sensor fusion algorithms.
The NaviGuider’s 15-state Kalman filter uses data from the sensors to provide reliable motion tracking and accurate compass heading, while using about 1% of less than half a mWatt of power. It offloads significant computational work-load from your host processor, for longer system deployment.
The new NaviGuider is the first complete sensor-based guidance for UAVs, ocean gliders, robots, and buoys that requires no external calibration and no additional algorithms, making it simple and easy to integrate with UART. The NaviGuider I²C is available with an I²C interface on a surface-mountable PCBA for embedded developers.
NaviGuider has a panel mountable printed-circuit assembly with a connector for cable interfacing. Its small form factor, UART interface and ASCII protocol makes system integration straightforward. For embedded designers, NaviGuider-I²C is available with an I²C interface on a surface-mountable PCBA.
Incredible resolution magnetic sensor with low power, low mass, small size and large dynamic range. Furthermore, the RM3100 has impeccable signal to noise, no drift, and precise magnetic field measurements, making it ideal for underwater, air, satellite, and spacecraft applications.
Stable and reliable over time and temperature and extremely radiation tolerant.
Proven in the real world across a wide range of applications, including the Artemis Space Program.
Introducing Headway, a breakthrough Low SWaP-C AHRS targeting module that delivers in-field, accurate heading to 1º, without any need for in-field manual calibration.
Unlike other Attitude Heading Reference Systems (AHRS) that require in-field, time-consuming recalibration, the Headway targeting module constantly delivers heading data in static and dynamic situations, with 1º of accuracy. And because it contains the latest IMU Sensors and PNI´s RM3100 magnetic sensor integrated with sensor fusion Edge AI algorithms, Headway needs no calibration by operators.
Headway is ultra-compact, uses ultra low power, and is shock and temperature fluctuation resistant. Headway is easy to integrate and is ideal for use in targeting, drones, unmanned vehicles, augmented reality, and virtual reality headsets.
PNI fuses its proprietary magnetic sensors and sensor fusion algorithms, delivering an accurate AHRS heading without the need for GPS through the TRAX2.
The TRAX2 combines PNI’s high-sensitivity magnetic sensors with high stability IMU for accurate heading pitch and roll in a wide variety of conditions.
TRAX2 provides superior performance under a low-power budget that extends mission duration. It is ITAR-free and made in the U.S.A. Different use-cases require different sensor fusion algorithms. PNI’s 15 state Kalamn filter with user- adjustable knobs enables in-field, rapid algorithm changes. sMultiple calibration methods ensure accuracy in a wide range of industrial, scientific, marine and military applications
